Already I can see the things I like witht e 1.8 lens, DOF to me is brilliant.  Nicely focused in the front, blurred in the back...

Use the wee red focus dot thingies when taking your shots too, move them around so you can focus on different parts of the image.  You could go back to the leaf one you did tomorrow, keep changint the focus point to get different shots of the same hting.

If onlt wordpress UK was a little closer to me (4.5 hour drive) we could have had some fun with the cameras there.</description>
